Demonstration site. Two clinics, two services and every appointment on it are invented. Book, cancel and break things freely — no real patient, calendar or phone is connected. What is real and what is not
Tallinn · Tartu
Two clinics, one appointment book.
Choose the clinic, choose the examination, and see the times that are genuinely free at that clinic right now. No phone call, no waiting for someone to check a calendar and call you back.
One appointment at a time, per clinic
Each clinic takes one online appointment at a time, because one optometrist and one room are held for it. So a booking does not just remove its own slot — it removes every overlapping time for every examination at that clinic. The other clinic is untouched.
In the demo this is visible in one step: book 10:00 in Tallinn, then reload the times. Three overlapping slots disappear in Tallinn — 09:45, 10:00 and 10:15 — while Tartu still offers all thirty.
What you can book
Eye examination
Vision measured, prescription checked, eye health reviewed. The appointment most people come for, and the one to choose if you are unsure.
Book an eye examinationDry-eye consultation
For burning, watering or gritty eyes that will not settle. Longer, because the tear film is assessed and the treatment is explained.
Book a dry-eye consultationThe buffer is the clinic’s, not yours: it is the time to write up, clean and reset the room, and it is why the next slot is not offered immediately. More about both appointments

The time is checked once more
Between choosing a time and confirming it, someone else may have taken it. The clinic re-checks the slot at the last moment and only then writes the appointment down. If it went, you are returned to the times that are free now — never to a confirmation that is not true.
-
It appears in the clinic’s calendar
The appointment is written into the calendar the staff already work from, so nobody has to copy it across by hand.
-
A confirmation email arrives
With the clinic, the examination, the local time and a cancellation link that is yours alone. Opening the link only shows the appointment — cancelling always takes a deliberate second press.
-
A reminder the day before
One text message, 24 hours ahead. Cancel before then and the time goes back to the next patient automatically.

Everything above is one WordPress plugin and one shortcode. The next page says which parts are wired to something real, which are deliberately simulated, and what to click to see each behaviour for yourself.
